Abstract

The aim of this study is to establish frameworks for assessing the validity and reliability of Islamic financial literacy, as well as its influencing elements including hopelessness, religiosity, and financial satisfaction. Establishing reliable constructs for Islamic financial literacy is vital, especially since the majority of current research centers around conventional financial literacy that may not be in line with Islamic financial principles. The collection of data for this study involved the distribution of a structured questionnaire to 200 students enrolled at Farhangian University of Zanjan. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted on the data using SPSS software. The reliability of the IFL construct is demonstrated by the results of just seven items. Among these, the highest variance is observed in hopelessness, followed by despair and financial satisfaction. The current research offers reliable frameworks for evaluating IFL in college students, enabling upcoming researchers to enhance their understanding in this field.
